Who we are:

A group of adults and young women (ages 11-17) who are committed to developing our personal character, citizenship and confidence by living the Scout Oath and Law in our daily lives

What do we do:

• Develop skills for personal sustainability.

• Head out on outdoor adventures to hone our skills and develop confidence and teamwork.

• Besides weekly meetings, we strive for once monthly camping or outdoor excursions.

• The troop looks forward to attending summer camp in the Adirondack Mountains at Massawepie.

• Additionally, we look forward to offering high adventure outings for older youth whether at a BSA High Adventure Camp or on a local trek.

Operation Trailblazers 2024 Sunday 4/28 1-5

Join us to help re-route a trail!

We will be removing bushes and bramble, some thorn bushes, and anything else small that's in the way of the trail. After removing everything, we will rake the trail out!

This part of the project will require 12-15 volunteers, but more volunteers are welcome! If more than 12-15 volunteers show up, we can work on picking up trash and old farm equipment (which counts for conservation hours!) and possibly working on the second trail re-route.

Last week we learned about our Halloween party, how to meal plan and how to stay warm for a campout, the differences between sleeping bags, and how to stay dry.

This week we will finalize our party plans, learn “shelter site location”, the differences between tenting and hammocking, and how to pack a backpack. For those going to CTC, we will finalize tent assignments, and check patrol box readiness. Don’t forget to sign up on the website!
